Dr. Joannes J. Westerink Commissioner Dr. Westerink is a Professor of Civil Engineering and Geological Sciences at the University of Notre Dame. He has a concurrent appointment in the Department of Mathematics. Dr. Westerink’s research focuses on the development, analysis and applications of coastal ocean and estuarine hydrodynamic, constituent transport and sediment transport models.
