The Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority – West on behalf of its member Districts, West Jefferson Levee District and Algiers Levee District, is soliciting bids for the Official Journal for the period July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011. The publication must cover the entire West Bank of Jefferson Parish and the entire West Bank of Orleans Parish. .

BID NO. 217 – RENTAL EQUIPMENT (CLOSED)

West Jefferson Levee District is soliciting bids for equipment rental needed for daily operations as well as during a state of emergency when normal business is or has been interrupted. These events can be hurricanes, levee breaks, floods, tornados or any man-made disaster such as an act of terrorism or any other type of emergency or disaster, and they may occur at any time. This is a non-exclusive contract. The contract will be valid for a period of one (1) year beginning July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.

West Jefferson Levee District is soliciting bids for the purchase of rip rap, sand, limestone 610 and limestone 57 for daily operations as well as during a state of emergency when normal business is or has been interrupted. BID NO. 209 – INSTALLATION OF A CARGO ELEVATOR (CLOSED)

Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority – West (SLFPA-W) is soliciting bids for the purchase and installation of a cargo elevator.  The work in this contract will be comprised of all items necessary for the procurement and installation of a cargo elevator in the West Jefferson Emergency Command Center. A mandatory pre‑bid conference will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m at the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority (West) – West Jefferson Levee District Administration Building, located at 7001 River Road, Marrero, Louisiana 70072, to answer questions pertaining to these plans and specifications.  

The bids will be publicly opened and read at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 4, 2010. No bids will be received after 10:00 a.m.  Any person requiring special accommodations shall notify the West Jefferson Levee District at (504) 231-5053 not less than 3 business days before bid opening.

 

BID NO. 207 - PRINTING OF A NEW CORPORATE PAPER SYSTEM (CLOSED)

Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority – West (SLFPA-W) is soliciting bids for printing of a new corporate paper system. All artwork will be supplied to printer on a CD in print-ready format. EPS, PDF and Illustrator Artwork will also be supplied. In addition, the files can be downloaded here in .zip format. Printer will be required to supply SLFPA-W with pre-print proofs of all artwork to be signed as acceptable before printing.

All items are to be printed on a consistent paper stock of Premium 70# uncoated opaque stock (Cougar or similar) to be approved prior to printing.
